Logline:
A young Bosnian woman comes to the US to seek out her mother, a refugee from the war in the Balkans. She finally locates her damaged mother, whose seemingly incoherent raving is saner than it seems, threatening to reveal the identity of a Bosnian War criminal.

When a popular science-fiction novelist loses the ability to write coherently, a specialist in near-death experiences urges him to post his strange writings on social media. A cult following interprets them as messages from the "other side", and they will kill to get more.
